HXAG-2002 coke screening composition mechanical sieve

I. Equipment Introduction
In accordance with the requirements of the international standard GB/T2005-1994, HXAG-2002 Mechanical Screen for Coke Size Composition was developed from the improvement of the manufacturing structure, operation, material feeding and blanking of traditional mechanical screen based on several years’ practical operation experiences. With the features of high screening performance and reduced intensity of work, the equipment enjoys tremendous popularity within users. (The equipment has obtained national patent protection with the patent No. of ZL200820167908.1).
II. Applications of the Equipment
HXAG-2002 Mechanical Screen for Coke Size Composition is mainly applicable for the screening of the metallurgical coke in various size compositions (less than 25mm, between 25mm and 40mm, between 60mm and 80mm and larger than 80mm) and the measurement of coke breeze content. The product is an ideal machine on the aspect of reducing the intensity of labor, improving the measurement accuracy of coke breeze content and eliminating the human errors in the measurement process. The mechanical screen has the features like integrated structure, user friendly and high reliability in operation. The technical performance of the product has been adopted in the standard of GB/T 2005—94.
III. Main Technical Indicators of the Equipment

The equipment is constituted by hopper frame specimen, spring support, vibrator assembly, motor, and rotation structure. Four screens with the gradient of 11.5°are installed within the screening body, which could push the coke to perform downward movement along with the inclined plane under the vibration to achieve the screening effect.

IV. Installation, Adjustment and Commissioning of the Equipment
Prepare the foundation by reference to the drawing for installation foundation. Lift up the equipment and place it horizontally onto the foundation. Connect the power supply (380V). It is necessary to check the reliability of the power source and ensure the proper grounding of the equipment during the installation process. Check the fasters on various positions of the equipment to ensure they are all under sound fastening status. Start the mechanical screen and check whether there are any abnormal changes in the vibration amplitude after reaching the normal amplitude of vibration. The equipment could only be used when the vibration amplitude is under normal status.
V. Operation Procedure of the Equipment
1. Start the mechanical screen, and wait for the vibration amplitude to reach the normal level. Two operators would then lift up the specimen carton full of specimens and pour them into the rear feeding port located on the upper layer of the machine slowly. Please be cautious to avoid piling up of materials on the screening surface. Unfold the materials once any piling up has occurred. The materials on the screening surface shall be maintained at the level of about 15kg.
2. The materials discharged from the discharge ports at different layers shall be collected with specimen cartons. After the completion of the screening of the specimen, shut down the machine first, and then weigh the materials discharged from different layers and calculate out the percentage of various levels
3. The blocking of coke on the screen sieve may influence the screening performance of the machine. In such cases, the operators may clean the screen sieves on the side surface of the screening body and use iron hook to clean the screen sieve. The coke blocked on the upper screen could be squeezed out directly.
VI. Calculation for the Testing Results
The percentage (Si) of various classes of materials could be calculated with below formula:

VII. Repair and Maintenance of the Equipment
Due to the large vibration amplitude of the equipment, it is necessary to carefully check the fastening status of the fasteners at various positions after each operation of the machine. Lubricant oil shall be added to lubrication positions in time. It is necessary to keep the machine clean. For environment protection consideration, ventilation device shall be arranged on the upper position of the material feeding port and the material discharging port. The sieve holes (various levels) shall be measured once per month and change the sieves out of specification (specified in GB/T 2005-1994) immediatel.
